MuRip computes the MusicBrainz Disc ID for the CD. When you use the 'Tools > MusicBrainz Info', the disc ID is used to find the CD entry in the MusicBrainz database. The result is displayed in your browser window.

See the example page below. It shows almost everything you would ever need to know about the CD. This provides more information than the CD insert, and the LP cover too.
